A jilted groom and a guy who doesn’t believe in monogamy fall in love? Yeah. Right.

After getting cheated on at my own goddamn wedding, I’m through with men. I’m approaching fifty, and all I’ve ever wanted is to settle down, get married, and live happily ever after. But yeah, that hasn’t exactly worked out great for me.

The last person I expect to understand me is Tate. Sure, he’s cute, curious, and clever. A firecracker with no filter who somehow manages to stay friendly and genuine at the same time. But he isn’t exactly a settle-down kinda guy. Oh, and did I mention he’s also twenty years younger than me?

There’s no way something could ever happen between the two of us, so how is it possible that Tate has got me looking at love––and him––in a whole new light?

I have been waiting for this book to come out, so when I saw there was an advanced reader’s copy available, I had to try and get it! Having read the first two books in the series I was intrigued to find out how Gus, the adorable vet shop owner who found out his husband of just hours had just cheated on him at their wedding reception, gets his happy ending.

After the dramatic wedding of all weddings where one of the grooms was found to be cheating on his new husband with the florist in the bathroom during the wedding reception, things were not looking good for Gus. It was understandable that he became depressed and dealt with the different stages. But the opening of the Got Me Looking starts with Gus out enjoying a night while Tate, Gus’ friend’s boyfriend, has been deemed his chaperon for the night.

Tate a retiring cam boy who helped his friend Haze start a new business dubs himself polyamorous. But when Gus suddenly becomes his fake boyfriend to appease his mother, Tate starts to feel monogamous feelings.

Got Me Looking is a journey of two men dealing with self-discovery and finding the joy of love. Both are not bothered by the rather large gap between them. They both have some amazing chemistry as well.

I really enjoyed Got Me Looking it has a solid pace and I never really lost interest in what was happening. There was plenty of steam with the sex scenes. I left that the characters all had depth and were very believable. There was a true journey of self-discovery and figuring out a relationship.

If you enjoy pets, two adorable men, hot and steamy sex scenes, believable characters, and a good pace book then Got Me Looking is a must-read. I loved it and am looking forward to reading more from Casey Cox! If the little hint in the epilogue is right, I’m hoping there is another book in this series.
