My name is Rachel Price, and the sky is officially falling. Imagine being at your brother's wedding brunch when you get an email that crushes all your dreams. I didn't win the Barkley Fellowship. My rising career in sports medicine has just come crashing down. So here I sit, alone in this swanky hotel bar, ready to drown my feelings in bitters and bourbon. Then suddenly, in walks...

I was just about to start reading Pucking Around when, in the front matter, it was highly suggested to read this novella first. I’m really, really glad that I did! This short novella packs a lot of punch and sets the scene for the rest of the series.

Rachel is sitting in a bar and being harassed by a guy who is not taking a hint. But when walks her knight in shining armor, mystery boy (Jake). From that moment, we are all toast: Rachel, Jake, and us, the readers! This one-night stand was hot, heavy, soul-crushing, and everything Rachel and Jake wanted and needed. But it only be for one night, but is one night really enough?

That One Night came in hot and heavy, leaving me wanting so much more! The heat was turned up to the max, and it was amazing! This novella has quickly jumped to the list as one of my favorites of all time. I quickly devoured it and the first two books in the series and the 2 additional novella collections in a matter of days. If you are ready for an all-consuming love and spice, this novella is the perfect start to get you into the series. I can not recommend it enough!
